A couple weeks ago I drove to Cheyenne to install three Sandhill Cranes at the Joint Military Readiness Building on the Warren Air Force Base. This was a project that was originally commissioned for the Jackson Hole Airport, but one that was mysteriously un-commissioned. I’m glad I finally got to build the piece, and it’s nice to have public work in the town where I was born.
I stayed with my Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave. Dave and my cousin, Dan, are both representatives in the Wyoming State Legislature. We stopped by the Capitol to check out the session going on and we were introduced to the assembly at the end of the day.
It was a cool trip and good times reconnecting with family.
